I found some great ones at Michaels, and some crappy ones at michaels. The ones i liked were in their own little frosted glass tea light, and you couldn't see the fake flame. They flickered beautifully and the audience was completely fooled, and it was theater code friendly. I switched the on, and then used poster putty to stick them to the bottom of a larger clear glass votive, and it worked great.

The other ones I didn't like had these big fake bulbous flames on top of a squat white plastic cylinder. Some didn't work, and they looked cheap.
